 Today we read a poem called ‘The Red Wheelbarrow.’ It was a short poem, we talked about the importance of thing's you need or that you feel is necessary that if you don’t have it doesn’t feel right . For example 5 things that so much depends upon for me is money ,mirror , bus driver ,parents , and teachers. It’s like they all have their uses. We also came up with two themes which was ,appreciate the little things and humans work with nature to accomplish important tasks.

 We had to do newsela, and read to different texts. One was called entrepreneur Rana El Kaliouby wants artificial intelligence to put “human first.” It talked about how Rana believes that AI should be designed to understand and respond to human emotions. It's really cool to see how she's working towards creating more empathetic technology. The other text was AI bot chatGPT shows academic essay writing skills and usability. It showcases its academic essay writing skills and usability. The author discusses the strengths and limitations of chatGPT as a tool for academic writing. It's interesting to see how AI is evolving and being used in different areas.

Me and my class were still in the topic of claims.We first started with claim of fact we needed a topic and a claim, for example one topic was sports and the claim would be sports are dangerous. The other one was claim of value the topic was teacher, the claim was Mr.Evans is the best teacher that I have had ever and for the criteria it would be , he teaches in a fun way.

 We discussed what a claim is. A claim states the arguments main idea or position, a claim has to be arguable. There are 3 types of claims, claim of fact, claim of value, and claim of policy. Claim of fact asserts something that is true or not true, claim of value argues that something is good or bad,right or wrong, claim of policy is anytime your purpose a change, you’re making a claim of policy. We also got assigned an opinion and we then had to create 5 claims agreeing with it.
